IVAN "CRISPIN" CALDERON Expert Rock Climber
with more that 20 years of experience of consistent rock climbing, since teenager he has climb some of the tallest vertical walls in the world, includding El Capitan (Yosemite, EEUU), Colorado, Suesca (Colombia) and Torres del Paine (Patagonia).

Nowadays, he has specializes in leading big wall climbing expeditions to the most virgin vertical walls of the world, located all in the heart of National Park Canaima, Venezuela, near the borther with Brazil. Companies such as the BBC of london has hired him for documentaries in this area.

"Crispin" as we call him, is in charge of our expedition to climb Akopan Tepui, the "easiest" one of all routes on the "Tepuis" (flat top mountains) in the Amazone region.

Canaima is the second bigest National Park in the World, rigth next to the brazilian Amazonas. A unique area of great ecological and cultural value, many indian tribes still inhabitate the area. Is aldo listed in the UNESCO's Natural World Heritage list since 1995.
