 BIKE THE HEART OF THE AMAZON
This program takes you by bike through the remoteness of National Park Canaima, towards south-eastern Venezuela and nortern Brazil. This is a UNESCO's Natural World Heritage Site.
The Itinerary takes 12 - 15 days total, pedaling through scattered indigenous villages, plus 2 days in/out-equipment hauling, by aircraft.
There are plenty of optional activities available in the area, from small craft flights over the tallest waterfalls in the world, to basejump from its summits, big wall climbing paraglide, hanglide, kayak and raft trips. Included: air, ground and water transportation, from-to meeting point, expedition accomodations (lodging, tenting), meals, permits,professional bilingual local guides, and bike technitians. Travel Insurance available.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED tents, bike-packing, bikes, spare parts.
